Techboard Turbine

This 500kw EWT DW52 (50m tower) was commissioned in August 2016 and is located at Rassau Industrial Estate, Ebbw Vale, South Wales. The turbine is the second EWT to be added to the Sirius Renewable Energy fleet and is estimated to produce some 1.5million kwh of low carbon renewable electricity per annum. The turbine will provide electricity to the adjacent industrial unit which will utilise the energy and reduce carbon emissions by some 17,200 tonnes of CO2 over the life of the project.
