This 500kw Enercon E53 (60m tower) is located on land owned by FCC Environment at Cotes Park Industrial Estate, near Derby. The turbine supplies some 1.3 million kwh of electricity each year to the adjacent waste treatment plant operation, reducing carbon emissions by some 14,000 tonnes of CO2 over the life of the project.
