Gainsborough is the fifth Sirius wind turbine construction project we’ve successfully provided design and project management services for in the past two years. The next step is to explore the opportunity to provide low carbon electricity to the adjacent food production facility in order to enhance the benefits of the project to the local community and businesses.

This project was particularly challenging given the multiple site issues of ecological mitigation, poor ground conditions, difficult access arrangements and short timescales due to the Feed in Tariff deadline. The project could not have been delivered under these circumstances without the effective teamworking of the Sirius Group companies and the landowner FCC Environment
