In November, five Sirius staff members from across the UK attended the Annual Keynetix meeting. Leaders in the development of geotechnical and civil engineering software, Keynetix invite users to test and contribute to their latest products. This year’s theme was: ‘Don’t let data become an overhead’ with the launch of an updated version of the PocketSI handheld device.

Steve Whale, Sirius Group Network Administrator says: ”At Sirius it’s important to us to keep up to date with advanced technology. We are closely involved with high quality, leading-edge software companies whose products help us deliver an efficient, cost-effective service for our clients. We have a good relationship with Keynetix and their developers, playing an active role in helping them refine and improve their technologies. This year’s event was a great success and one of our staff, James Blyth from the Runcorn office, even won the ‘Best Question Of The Day’ competition!”
