The Sirius Group has chosen Aberdeen as the location of its first Scottish office.
It will now manage its operations north of the border from offices on Riverside Drive, Aberdeen.
Patrick Kane, a Sirius director, said the time was right for the company to establish a permanent base north of the border and continue to build its reputation in Scotland.
He said "Over the past few years we have undertaken a number of major projects in Scotland - particularly in the north-east - and have made some strong contacts and established excellent working relationships with local companies during this time."
