Since appointment in April 2009 Sirius is already undertaking two key demolition contracts with a third due to commence in mid October 2009.  Sirius is working in partnership with Housing Hartlepool to determine the best way to take the sites forward and this has led to increased use of the services offered.  Other services include asbestos removal, remediation of the land post demolition and site investigation.  Sirius has also taken the burden away from Housing Hartlepool to deal with pre-demolition site constraints such as services, ecological constraints and the like.

Sirius has engaged extensively with the local stakeholders including most importantly the residents to ensure that the demolition works progress with the most sensitivity and the least possible disruption to the local way of life.  Our efforts have been well received by the various residents’ forums and will be replicated on all other Housing Hartlepool schemes throughout the prestigious 3 year term contract.
